The Council offers expertise and experience, informing and encouraging the Wonderfully Free ministry of Darrell and Anthea Cocup and advocating its mission and vision. It also helps to give structure, accountability and covering to the ministry.
Roles of the Council of Reference
To act as a consultative body and provide wise counsel.
To provide pastoral support and advice, as a safe place for open and confidential discussion.
To help keep the ministry on purpose and identify opportunities to strengthen its reach and reputation where appropriate.
Managing complaints
Complaints should be resolved directly by the Directors wherever possible. The Directors may seek advice from the Council when managing complaints. If a complaint cannot be resolved directly, or it would not be appropriate to discuss it with the Directors, the Council may be contacted at CoR@wonderfullyfree.org. One or more members will investigate and reach a judgement; the Council’s decision is final.
Membership and meetings
The Directors meet members online or face-to-face as needed, with an expectation of meeting at least once every six months. The Council has a minimum of three and a maximum of six members. Members are chosen for relevant expertise and normally serve for three years, with the possibility of a further term by agreement.
Publication and contact
The names of current members and a short biography describing their main expertise are published on this website. Their private contact details are not published.
